Hunter Walterman is an award-winning journalist who is excited to call Southwest Florida home. He is the community correspondent for Arcadia and North Port.
Hunter comes to Florida from the Midwest. He worked as a reporter and anchor at KOMU-TV, the NBC station in central Missouri. There, Hunter earned two top-ten finishes in the annual Hearst Television News Competition. He was recognized for stories on Missouri’s prison system and innovative-farming technology.
Hunter is a proud graduate of the University of Missouri. Although, he’s very happy to be out of the cold. When he’s not working, you can find him out on a walk, cooking, or enjoying the beach with a Pub Sub.
