North Port Police lift lock down after school threat

NORTH PORT, Fla. — On Thursday, the North Port Police Department says Woodland Mddle School was placed on lockdown due to a school threat to do harm.

That is according to the North Port Police Department..

The lockdown has been lifted.

Police say multiple units were on scene.

The threat was deemed "unsubstantiated", but the department says it will "pursue to the fullest anyone making these types of threats".
