NORTH PORT, Fla. — Firefighters worked quickly to put out a fire at the future North Port Utilities administration building.
The building, which is under construction, caught fire on Friday morning on Pan American Boulevard, near Trott Circle.
North Port Fire Rescue said the fire was contained to building materials on the roof.
No one was injured and there was no damage to the surrounding buildings, the department said.
Fire Rescue said the fire is out and contained.
