NAPLES, Fla. — New Flood Insurance Rate Maps are now in effect for the City of Naples.
FEMA says the maps are a result of research that spans several years.
As a result of the updates, some property owners could now be required to purchase flood insurance, even if they were not previously obligated to do so.
