UPDATE June 27:
Fox 4 has obtained the police report of the bank robbery and it revealed that one of the suspects was a known customer.
In the report, it said deputies were notified using a "silent hold-up alarm."
The bank teller told deputies the suspect was Joseph Driggers, who she says was a known customer at the bank.
In the report, it said the Driggers passed the teller a note written on a brown paper bag.
According to the report, the note said Driggers was "in possession of a firearm and bomb and that he will blow it up if police were notified."
It's not known yet how much money was given to Driggers, but deputies said he ran off and left in a car parked in the bank parking lot.
The report said the driver was later identified as Kelsey Holtz.
Roughly an hour after the robbery, a license plate reader alerted to the suspect's car in downtown Fort Myers before being picked up after about 20 minutes later near South Cleveland Avenue and Maravilla Avenue.
The report said police conducted a traffic stop and Driggers took off, but was quickly caught.
"Prior to being placed in handcuffs, Drigger grabbed a box cutter from his pocket and intentionally cut himself on the neck in an attempt to commit suicide," the report said.
Driggers was taken to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries,
When searched, the report said they found cocaine and methophine on him.
Deputies said they interviewed Holtz about what happened.
According to the report, she said Driggers is her ex-boyfriend and she picked him up from the Fort Myers Inn Hotel to take him to the bank for a withdrawal.
Holtz told deputies it's his bank and she had been there numerous times.
After they got there, she told deputies she waited in the car. Then, the report said Driggers got back in and demanded she immediately leave.
According to the report, Holtz said she was confused and didn't understand why she had to quickly drive away. She told deputies Driggers threatened to stab her with a box cutter and that "he dis something bad at the bank."
Holtz told deputies Driggers took her phone and key fob.
While driving around, Holtz said she stopped at an unknown home where Driggers briefly got out.
"It should be noted that Holtz had ample opportunity to run from the vehicle to seek help but decided to stay in the vehicle and wait for Drigger to return," the report said.
The report said Holtz also spotted law enforcement while driving and didn't attempt to flag them down.
Eventually, the report said she stopped at a gas station on Palm Beach Boulevard to get gas and deputies said she did not take off to get help.
It was a short time after that where law enforcement pulled them over and arrested them.
Driggers declined to talk to investigators.
Driggers is charged with robbery with a firearm and two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
Holtz is charged with robbery with a firearm.
