The Cape Coral Police Department says three officers have suffered minor injuries.
Police say that the passengers in the other car involved in this crash have minor injuries, too.
UPDATE 6/5 7:30AM:
The Cape Coral Police Department confirms a woman has died in this crash. Officers say the two vehicles collided around 10:30 Wednesday night.
One of the cars involved landed in a canal.
Officers tell FOX 4 they entered the canal and pulled the driver out, but she was later pronounced dead.
Investigators believe she was the only one in the car.

The Cape Coral Police Department says two cars were involved in a crash - one ended up in a canal.
Police said the crash happened off of Burnt Store Road on Wednesday around 10:30 P.M.
Southbound lanes in the area are closed as of 3 a.m.
