Staff at the Punta Gorda Airport confirm to Fox 4 that one person died on a plane, overnight.
Employees of the airport tell Fox 4 the plane landed around midnight, in Punta Gorda. We have reached out to the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office to learn how it happened, and more on the status of the investigation. We will update this article when new information comes in.
