CAPE CORAL, Fla. — A man who was arrested after a summer solstice ritual took a bizarre turn has been found guilty.
Back in June 2018, officers found John Hennessey naked, in front of a yard holding a knife and long stick, chanting around a fire.
Hennessey waved the knife at officers and swung the stick at them.
At one point, he fell into the fire, and officers pulled him out.
Hennessey was charged with two counts of aggravated assault, criminal mischief, and four counts of aggravated assault on law enforcement officer.
His sentencing is scheduled for November 4th.
