FORT MYERS, Fla. -- The man detectives believe took the life of an eight-year-old girl in a fatal hit and run is expected to appear in court Wednesday.
Logan Hetherington will be back in court for a case management hearing in the death of Layla Aiken.

Police say Hetherington hit Aiken with his truck while she waited for her school bus, and then continued on to work in Cape Coral in March.
