FORT MYERS, FL —
FOX 4 is dedicated to giving time to something we feel is important to the entire community.
For days, we’ve covered a sudden change in funding from the City of Fort Myers.
More than a two dozen organizations will now lose a total of $319,000 in city funding. Those groups tell us they’re hopeful they can get the city to reverse the decision.
This week, we invited these organizations to our studies to tell us what the loss of funds means to them, and what they’re asking of the City of Fort Myers.
You can hear from Human Trafficking Awareness Partnerships, Guardian ad Litem Found, Our Mother's Home, and Quality Life Center.
