FORT MYERS, Fla. — According to the City of Fort Myers, a few private citizens are coming together to figure out a plan to move and store the fountain that currently stands in front of Franklin Arms.

Key Properties owns the Franklin Arms building and the fountain is privately-owned. Therefore, the city has no jurisdiction.

Though the fountain is not a historic structure, the fountain is frequently used for photo opportunities.
