HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. -- With temperatures forecast to drop into the 30's by Wednesday morning, Hendry County will be opening two cold weather shelters Tuesday evening for anyone who needs them.
One will be in LaBelle at the United Way House, located at 133 N. Bridge Street.
The other will be in Clewiston at the Janet B. Taylor Auditorium, located at 1100 S. Olympia Street.
Doors open at 7 p.m., and those seeking shelter must be in place by midnight, or the facilities will close and the colunteers will be released.
