FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A local group needs your help to honor fallen officer Adam Jobbers-Miller.

The Lee Health Military Support Program says they're trying to make 10,000 ribbons for the officer's ceremony at Germain Arena on Monday, but they need more hands to get them all done.

They say if you have free time this Thursday or Friday from 1 pm to 7 pm, head to 2158 Johnson Street in Fort Myers to volunteer your time and help out.

They ask you to please help them honor their fallen hero.

Officer Jobbers-Miller died Saturday following an altercation while on duty on July 21st. Fort Myers Police say the suspect used the officer's own gun to shoot him.
