FORT MYERS, Fla. -- A local group needs your help to honor fallen officer Adam Jobbers-Miller.

The Lee Health Military Support Program says they're trying to make 10,000 ribbons for the officer's ceremony at Germain Arena on Monday , but they need more hands to get them all done.

They say if you have free time this Thursday or Friday from 1 pm to 7 pm, head to 2158 Johnson Street in Fort Myers to volunteer your time and help out.

They ask you to please help them honor their fallen hero.

Officer Jobbers-Miller died Saturday following an altercation while on duty on July 21st. Fort Myers Police say the suspect used the officer's own gun to shoot him.
