LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Fort Myers street is getting a new name in honor of a nearby after-school program.
Over the summer, the Fort Myers city council voted to re-name Cuba Street to Quality Life Center Way. They're having a re-naming ceremony Monday evening.
The Quality Life Center offers children after-school education programs. City officials say the change is meant to honor the center's work over the past 25 years.

Recently the City of Fort Myers cut funding for the Quality Life Center and several other local non-profits.
This organization will lose about $130,000. They're working on ways to make some of that up.
