Fort Myers man sentenced to 30 years in prison on multiple charges

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The State Attorneys office announced the sentencing of Tony Lamar Bouie, 53.

Fort Myers Police responded to a call about an early morning robbery and shooting back in June.

The victim in this incident suffered a non-life threating gunshot wound.

Bouie pled no contest to one count each of; Aggravated Battery with a Deadly Weapon, Robbery with a Deadly Weapon, Sale of Cocaine within 1,000 ft. of a Place of Worship, Possession of Cocaine, and two counts of Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Bouie was sentenced as a Habitual Felony Offender on all counts except the Possession of Cocaine.

He was sentenced to 30 years in prison.

Bouie also sold cocaine to an undercover officer in a separate incident. The Fort Myers Police Department handled and investigated each crime scene.
