FORT MYERS, Fla. — An early morning robbery and shooting lead to a quick arrest by Fort Myers Police.

Tony Bouie, 53, was positively identified as the suspect who was involved in the robbery on Franklin Street in Fort Myers.

The incident took place this morning at approximately 7:25 am.

The victim suffered a non-life threating gunshot wound.

After Bouie was arrested deputies found four plastic baggies of marijuana.

Bouie was then transported to the Lee County Jail.

Bouie was charged with robbery with a firearm, aggravated battery with a firearm, possession of marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
