COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- Emergency Management officials are concerned about the possibility of localized flooding in the next few day.
They say that a tropical wave will bring a chance for heavy rainfall. Fox 4 meteorologist Trent Aric confirms that beginning Friday into the weekend the rain chance goes up to 70% as moisture from a Tropical Wave makes its way in the region from the Caribbean.
That could cause street flooding.
There is also a chance for coastal flooding due to a new moon and higher-than-average tide levels.
