UPDATE NOV. 6:
Fox 4 has received the police report of Barbara Bates that did not have any redactions in it. That report provides Bates' statement to deputies about what happened the night of Nov. 3.
According to the documents, Barbara said she went to a pawn shop on Oct. 16 to buy a gun and had put down a $38 down payment. However, because of the waiting period and background checks, the report said she was deterred.
On Nov. 3, the report said she bought the family's final meal and a 96-count of sleeping pills.
The report said on that same night, she chose the horror movie, The Long Walk, as the "last family event."
During the movie, the report said Barbara's husband, Neil, drank while their son took a handful of sleeping pills given to him by Barbara.
The report said the son was developmentally challenged.
According to documents, Barbara took the rest of the sleeping pills and her Trazodone.
When the movie was over, they went to the master bedroom and the report said Neil grabbed a box cutter.
The report said Neil cut himself and then Barbara cut him, too. After, documents said Barbara cut her son.
After about 30-40 minutes, the report said Barbara harmed herself. She told deputies she called 911 to make sure someone took care of her dog after they were dead.
She told deputies that she waited 40 minutes to guarantee first responders would not try to save them.
"Barbara voiced her displeasure that law enforcement responded to efficiently and did not allow a more significant time gap for the family to complete the process," the report said.
The report said Barbara stated that she still wished that "the plan had succeeded" and "did not demonstrate any remorse for the injuries inflicted."
Barbara will be in court on Friday morning for a pre-trial detention hearing, which will determine if she will stay in jail without bond.

Fox 4 will be there to bring you the latest information.
Previous reporting:
Fox 4 has received the police report of Bates, the mother charged with attempted murder.
According to the documents, Bates called 911 and said a man had cuts to his neck and forearms while another other man had cuts to his neck. She said she had a cut to her forearm.
The documents said Bates was lying on a bed with a bloody box cutter near her.
Watch Fox 4's Alex Orenczuk report on the family's suicide pact:
Detectives said they talked to the first victim and he said they were in the final process of an eviction and would soon be homeless. He told deputies he drank alcohol and took sleeping medication for the “preparation phase.”

He then said he laid down next to another victim on the master bed and closed his eyes. Because parts of the report were redacted, it’s unclear who inflicted the injuries on whom.
The first victim said after the other man made self-inflicted injuries, it made the first man "panic and change his mind, and no longer wanted to participate,” the documents said.
The man said he started losing consciousness, but was awoken by responding deputies.
The sheriff’s office then said it interviewed the other victim – the second man.
He said the same thing as the first man – that they were being evicted, they drank alcohol and took sleeping pills to “begin the process.”
According to the report, he told another person that he would go first due to not having the courage to hurt another person.
The report said the man was assured by Bates that she would carry out the plan after he was unable to.
After the man harmed himself, the sheriff’s office said he woke up after first responders performed CPR. But, deputies said this victim’s statement changed and wasn’t consistent with what he had originally said.
Once they were all sent to the hospital, medical staff they were expected to recover.
Bates was interviewed by detectives, but her interview is redacted in the report.
The sheriff’s office charged Bates with two counts of attempted murder. They said Bates planned the homicide of one of the victims over a period of months and tried to get a gun, but couldn’t.
The report said Bates also got sleeping medication with the intent of giving it to the victims and using a blade to cut their throats “with the intent of ending their life.”
The mother is also charged with aggravated child abuse. The sheriff’s office said while attempting to end the life a developmentally challenged victim, she committed child abuse.
Bates was sent to the hospital for her injuries and is not yet in the Lee County Jail, as of Tuesday afternoon.
Bates' neighbor, Kaci Fred told Fox 4 that Bates had mentioned the eviction, but said she was always friendly in their limited interactions.
"She seemed nice and friendly," Fred said. "She's the only one that we've ever met. She was very talkative, very happy, very go lucky.”
