The Florida Department of Transportation says the LaBelle drawbridge will reopen at 4PM.
The department says an "area of concern" was found on a plate while crews conducted maintenance work - leading to a full inspection that resulted in stopping traffic.
Crews say the area of concern was limited to the single plate.

The Hendry County Sheriff's Office says the drawbridge will open at 10:30 a.m.

The LaBelle drawbridge on SR 29 at Bridge Street remains closed Thursday morning, according to the Florida Department of Transportation.
According to the Florida Department of Transportation, the bridge's 7AM opening has been pushed back until 9AM.
The bridge was closed for emergency repair, FDOT says.
If you're seeking a detour, the department advises drivers on State Road 80 to use US 27 and State Road 78.
Drivers traveling southbound on US-27 can continue on State Road 80.
The detour is more than 50 miles.
