UPDATE 3/13/25:

The Collier County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post Thursday they have issued an arrest warrant for a Broward County man for his role in a homicide in Immokalee we first reported to you on Monday. They now need the public's help to find him.

The warrant charges 42-year-old Archange “2Pac” Guillaume with second-degree murder in the shooting death of Jean Stevenson Aristilde of Immokalee.

“Through excellent investigative work our detectives have identified Archange Guillaume as the individual who committed this heinous crime,” Sheriff Kevin Rambosk said.

The Sheriff's Office says that early Monday deputies responded to a report of a shooting on 1st street. They say they found Aristilde lying face down on the ground in the parking lot. He had been shot and did not have a pulse. He died at the scene.

The Collier County Sheriff's Office is now looking for the community’s help in finding Guillaume, who stands 5 feet 10 inches. The Sheriff's Office says his last known address was 1371 N.W. 18th Drive, #301, in Pompano Beach.

He is known to frequent the Immokalee area.

Deadly shooting in Immokalee

ORIGINAL STORY 3/10/25:

One person is dead after an overnight shooting in Immokalee according to the Collier County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said they were called to South 1st Street, Immokalee Road, around 12:30 a.m. Monday morning.

In an incident report Deputies say when they arrived they saw a black male lying face down in the parking lot of a housing complex.

The man was later identified as 32-year-old Jean Stevenson Aristilde from Haiti.

Aristilde did not have a pulse when deputies checked and Collier County EMS pronounced him dead.

Deputies reported they interviewed bystanders at the scene but there were no viable witnesses, they reported they only heard one single gun shot. They said they did not see anything. Nearby apartments were checked but there was no one around.

Deputies reported they found only one single shell casing near the victims feet.

Deputies say that the mother of the victim did arrive at the scene. She was also accompanied by another friend of the victim.
