FORT MYERS, Fla. — The Fort Myers Fire Department said it responded to a fire on Fairview Avenue, Sunday.
Crews said it happened around 3 p.m. at a single-family home.
This was a cooking fire that expanded to the kitchen cabinets, according to the fire department.
One person was sent to a hospital because of an unrelated medical issue, according to the fire department.
They deemed the fire an accident.
