Here is your forecast for Friday, October 3rd, 2025.

It was a windy way to wrap up your Friday with gusts to 36 mph. Tomorrow won't be as windy but still breezy with gusts to 25 mph.

A low over the Bahamas combined with a ridge of high pressure over the Carolinas is creating the strong pressure gradient and windy weather across SWFL. Those winds will taper on Sunday. In the meantime, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect through 8 a.m. Sunday for coastal Sarasota, Charlotte and Lee counties and through 2 p.m. Saturday for Collier County.

Those winds out of the east and northeast will usher in Atlantic moisture each afternoon, creating scattered showers. The good news about this particular flow is that we'll have a low risk for lightning in the showers that develop (not zero but low.)

Low temperatures will stay in the low to mid-70s with high temperatures around 90° both Saturday and Sunday.
