COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. - A Naples woman is behind bars after witnesses say she tried taking plants from The Green Door Nursery in Naples.
Witnesses told Collier County deputies that they passed by the nursery located on Clair Shores Rd and saw a suspicious car and person on the property after hours.
When they drove to the store, they found 27-year-old Alison Jackson walking inside the enclosed fenced area with plants in her hands and two potted plants on the outside of the fence, CCSO said.
Once Alison realized she was being watched, she placed the plants on the ground, squeezed through the fence, and entered a white car.
While attempting to flee the scene, Alison rammed her vehicle into the car of the witnesses and sped away southbound on Bayshore drive.
Deputies arrested Alison and brought her to the Naples Jail Center.
She faces Aggravated Assault, Burglary and Theft charges. She remains in jail on a $17,000 bond.
In June, Jackson was accused cleaning out an elderly woman's medicine cabinet and jewelry box.
