FORT MYERS — Wind damaged a home in the Fort Myers community of Royal Palm Village. South Trail Fire Protection and Rescue crews shared photos of their careful work to remove a roof, peeled right off of a home.
Wind had blown the roof onto a neighboring home.
Firefighters had to cut the roof apart so they could tie it up and keep it from causing more damage.
