FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Cooler temperatures mean more manatee sightings in Southwest Florida waterways.
Video shot Friday from our Sky Fox drone shows numerous manatees at Manatee Park in Fort Myers.
There were a lot of park visitors there getting a close-up look at the sea cows. Some kayakers were even in the water right alongside those manatees.
When cold snaps hit Southwest Florida, manatees seek out warmer waters. And many are attracted to the warm outflows released by power plants.
