**UPDATE (6AM)** -- Verizon service may be coming back for customers in Charlotte and Lee counties.
There was an outage that started Thursday night that did impact calling 911 from your cell phone.
However, the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office says they've tested their 911 line using a Verizon phone, and found it back working.
Repairs for others could take several hours.

Verizon outages are being reported across the Cape Coral area.

Mobile internet, mobile phone and landline internet services have all been reported.
Law enforcement agencies recommend callers to use a land line if possible.Verizon says it is aware of the outage and technicians are working to fix the problem.
