CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- A possible water main break in Punta Gorda is causing a long backup on U.S. 41 across the Peace River.
The incident is near the intersection of U.S. 41/Tamiami Trail and W. Marion Avenue.
Southbound Tamiami Trail is restricted to just one lane in the area, causing traffic to back up all the way across the bridge over the Peace River.
