LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- The NFL draft is over, and while no Southwest Florida players got picked, there are some who made it on to teams shortly afterwards.

Last week we told you Ryan Pulley from Arkansas had a chance to get picked up in the 7th round.

Even though that didn't pan out, he'll get a shot to play pro ball with the Arizona Cardinals.

The former Island Coast High School defensive back showed some ball skills in his collegiate career, but has struggled with injuries.

Another local graduate will get a chance to play pro ball. Naples High School's Michael Walker has signed a free agent deal with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Walker was listed as a wide receiver for most of his career at Boston College, but didn't play a lot of offense. His big strength is on special teams, returning kicks and making tackles.
