CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A rolling tribute to President Trump made its way through Southwest Florida Monday on a journey across the country.
The Trump Unity Bridge - a bridge that was built by a man named Rob Cortis from Michigan – has traveled more than 175,000 miles in all 48 mainland states.
Cortis says he goes to different rallies around the country, and explains this bridge is his way to unite America, and vocalize his support for President Trump’s wall and his vision for the country.
“I have a bridge. I’m going to make it the Trump Unity Bridge. I’m gonna unite America to support President Trump's agenda, because I like what his agenda is,” says Cortis.
After his Southwest Florida appearance, the bridge continued north along the Florida west coast Monday. Tuesday it’s scheduled to pass through Tallahassee, Pensacola, and into Alabama and Mississippi.
