Traffic stop leads deputies to drugs and a weapon in Lehigh Acres

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla. — Lee County Deputies say they were able to take drugs and a gun off our streets after a traffic stop in Lehigh Acres.

Deputies pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of Snead Drive and Putter Lane, just north of Leonard Boulevard South.

Deputies noticed a strong odor of Marijuana and located 6.6 grams of Fentanyl, 3.3 grams of Cocaine, 25.7 grams of Methamphetamine, and a loaded gun.

Mitchell Brown and his passenger, Brianna Jones, were arrested.

Brown is facing several charges, including Drug Trafficking and Possessing a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.

Brianna Jones is charged with possession of Marijuana.
