HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — UPDATE: A 30-year old female passenger in one of the vehicles has died in the accident. The other people involved in the crash have minor injuries.
Due to an early morning traffic crash all eastbound lanes of State Road 80 at Lexington Parkway are closed.
Eastbound traffic in this area is being re-routed through Moore Haven.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash and are on the scene.
Hendry County officials suggest travelers allow for additional travel time if traveling through this area.
