LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lee County Sheriff's Office arrested three people for striking an LCSO chopper with a laser.
Deputies said it happened while the aviation unit was responding to a call in the Central District on Saturday.
Deputies said a trick-or-treater shined a green laser light into the cockpit of the helicopter.
Aviation deputies observed three individuals walking through a neighborhood and intentionally pointing a laser at the helicopter.
Patrol deputies responded and arrested three individuals and charged them with Misuse of a Laser, a third-degree felony.
