Thirteen-year-old student arrested for threat of mass shooting at school

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A written threat of a mass shooting was located inside the boy’s bathroom at Oak Hammock Middle School on March 3.

Detectives immediately responded and identified a suspect.

According to Lee County deputies, a thirteen-year-old student was arrested and now faces a felony charge of a written threat to commit a mass shooting.
