CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- The Federal Drug Administration has recalled three tattoo inks contaminated with bacteria.

The products recalled due to contamination by microorganisms are:

- Scalpaink SC, Scalpaink PA, Scalpaink AL basic black tattoos made by Scalp Aesthetics, all lots.
- Dynamic Black Ink - black tattoo ink, Lots 12024090 and 12026090.
- Color Art Inc. - Solid Ink Diablo (red) lot 10.19.18

The FDA warns these tattoo inks can cause infections and lead to serious health injures like rashes or allergic reactions.

Fox 4 spoke with local tattoo shop, Cape Life Tattoo, to find out which tattoo inks they use.

“I order online, I get reputable companies like Kingpin Tattoo Supply, it’s really good, because you’ll never know what you are going to get otherwise,” said Gary Morris, Owner, Cape Life Tattoo.
