It happened on Wednesday at 7270 Kumquat Road in Fort Myers.

The owner of the tablet told deputies that if the tablet was turned on, it could be located by GPS.

Detectives were later contacted by the victim who stated the tablet had been turned on and according to the GPS, the item was off Arizona Road in San Carlos Park. The location then changed to Alico Road, so detectives knew the stolen item was ina moving vehicle.

After tracking down the tablet, deputies came across a couple who had just purchased the tablet from a younger white male and female.
