FORT MYERS, Fla.-- The Bohanon Foundation, which was started by local NFL player Tommy Bohanon, is working with Southwest Florida Community Foundation, to offer scholarships to student athletes.
$10,000 in scholarships will be given out to students, who demonstrate leadership and volunteerism. You can apply by clicking here.
Winners will be announced in April, and presented with the awards at a banquet.
Tommy Bohanon played football for North Fort Myers High School and graduated in 2008. After college, he played for the New York Jets and Jacksonville Jaguars as a fullback.
