CAPE CORAL, Fla. — “ I stand here, this guy open the door, and just show me his gun like this,” said Siraj Udowlla, Sky Food Mart employee, robbery victim.

It was Friday night when two armed crooks walked into the Sky Food Mart at 17597 Rockefeller Circle and demanded the store’s clerk to hand over all the cash.

“Then they move and I go inside, and my hands look like this, and he kept telling me, open register open register and I opened the register for him, and that guy takes register drawer, see there is no register drawer,” said Udowlla.

The owner of sky food mart, who we will call Max, says he remembers seeing the suspects minutes before the robbery.

“They’re just watching any customer come in, so when they see any customer pulling in the parking lot, they back it up. So they keep doing that for 5 minutes, so then finally nobody came to the parking lot and boom, they just came in the store, pulled a gun on him, came here and took the money,” said Max, owner of Sky Food Mart.

Thanks to surveillance cameras, investigators have images of the suspects and they believe the same persons robbed a family dollar at 8290 Aloha Road.

Sky Food Mart employee Siraj Udowlla tells Fox 4, he is shaken up and wants these criminals off the streets.

“He took money from the register, and the black guy coming in and he pushes gun in my belly and he took register drawer too. A white guy asked me, where is more money, more money? I tell him everything here you can see that,” said Udowlla.
