LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A thirteen-year-old suspected of threatening Alva School students on social media was taken into custody Saturday. The Lee County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of an Instagram post and conducted an investigation. Deputies discovered that the writer of the threats was a thirteen-years-old suspect.
After gathering evidence and conducting interviews, deputies had enough cause to arrest and charge the suspect with three counts of Written Threat to Kill and Conduct a Mass Shooting.
