Student absence changes via Parent Link

Posted

LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- Changes are coming to the Lee County Parent Link system, when it comes to notifying you of your kid's absence. In the past, the messages would come out at 5 P.M. However, many parents complained that was too late.

Starting February 12th, 2018, if your child is in high school and absent, you will receive a call at 9:30 A.M. If your elementary aged student is absent you will be notified at 11 A.M. If your child is in middle school you will get a call at 11:30 A.M.
The district wants you to make sure your contact information is up to date so you get these important messages.
