The South Florida Water Management district's governing board is asking Congress for more money to help protect the Everglades.
Members sent a letter yesterday asking for funding for the South Florida ecosystem restoration.
They also requested two hundred million dollars for the Army Corps Aquatic ecosystem restoration in next year's federal budget.
