LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- Schools in Lee and Collier counties will be closed on Monday, September 10th for a major Jewish holiday.
Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, begins at sundown Sunday and extends until nightfall on Tuesday.
The holiday has been marked as a day off for all students in both Lee and Collier.
However, schools will be in session in Hendry, Glades, Charlotte, and DeSoto counties.
