LEE COUNTY, Fla.-- Sanibel Island has been ranked as a top vacation destination in North America.
Expedia did the study and over 4,600 destinations we're reviewed in 2017 by Expedia reviewers. Sanibel came in at number 15 out of 50 North American destinations.
Some of the reason that make Sanibel appealing, the shelling culture, the restaurant "the Bubble Room" and Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge.
