SANIBEL, Fla.—A Florida Red-bellied turtle is almost ready to be released back into the wild.
CROW animal hospital posted these pictures to your Facebook page. The clinic says after nearly 4-weeks, the hardware used to stabilize a fracture across its under shell was removed.
The turtle still has a few days to go, while the rest of the residue is cleaned off, but once it passes a vet check it will be released back into the wild.
