CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. -- Heavy rains have washed out an access road to a Charlotte County nature preserve.
According to Charlotte County officials, they've been force to close the access road to Prairie Creek Preserve off Duncan Road.
They say the road is underwater and a portion has been washed out.
Repairs will be made once the water has subsided.
