COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. -- A concerned resident called deputies about a possible burglary Sunday night that turned out to be a neighborhood kitty.
The Collier County Sheriff's Office says they received a call about a possible burglary along 60th Avenue NE in Golden Gate Estates.
Deputies investigated and found a small feline causing the sounds that prompted the call.
The cat was turned over to Domestic Animal Services for safekeeping.
**UPDATE** -- The cat burglar was micro-chipped. He has been identified as Bones and D.A.S. are in the process of contacting his owner!
