CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — A hit-and-run driver left a Port Charlotte man seriously injured.
On March 2, at around 7:45 p.m., man was riding a bicycle north in the left turn lane on U.S. 41, approaching Elkcam Blvd., when the front of the vehicle hit the rear of the bike.
The driver fled and the 66-year-old man was transported to a local hospital.
