Police seek witnesses to deadly Fort Myers shooting Sunday

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police are looking for help from anyone who may have witnessed a fatal shooting off Marsh Avenue early Sunday morning.

According to Fort Myers Police, officers were called to the 300 block of Louise Avenue around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, where they found 32-year-old Daryl D. Scott with a gunshot wound.

Scott was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police say this is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public.
