Police in North Port are investigating a woman who they say died after her husband pushed her down the stairs.
It happened in near the 1200 block of Firewheel place in Gran Paradiso Complex.
Police say the 72-year-old woman was taking care of her husband who struggles with medical issues. Investigators say the couple began fighting, and the husband reportedly pushed his wife down the stairs.
Both were taken to the hospital where the wife later died. Her husband is still recovering in the hospital.
