FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Police have identified a man injured by gunfire connected to Monday morning's multiple crime scenes.

According to Fort Myers Police, 32-year-old Barry White arrived at Lee Memorial Hospital at 3:30 a.m. Monday with a non-life threatening gunshot wound.

White told officers that he was driving on Edison Avenue near Jackson Street when somebody in another vehicle opened fire on White's car. When White realized he was wounded, he drove himself to the hospital.

Officers were also investigating a crime scene at Highland Avenue Monday morning, where a car was found on a property with windows blown out, the airbag deployed, and the bumper ripped off. There's no word whether this scene was connected to the Edison Avenue.
