One arrested after gunfire in a Dunbar neighborhood Thursday night

UPDATE (11:30am) -- Police have made an arrest in Thursday night's shots fired report.

According to Fort Myers Police, it started with an argument between a mother and daughter in the 3300 block of Dora Street in which 25-year-old Luis Carrion became involved.

Police say Carrion came out from the residence and fired a handgun.

He was arrested and charged with three counts of Aggravated Assault.

Fort Myers Police are interviewing those involved in an overnight shooting. 

This happened around 11:30 p.m. Thursday night in the 3300 block of Dora Street in the Dunbar area. 

Officers say no one was hit when the shots rang out and no injuries have been reported.

There's no word yet on who could be responsible or what led up to the shots being fired.

This is the second report of gunshots fired in the Dunbar area in two days. Wednesday night, one man was arrestedafter firing shots during a domestic conflict on South Street.

A total of four shooting incidents happened in Fort Myers this week, with two deaths: one in San Carlos Park on Tuesday, and a murder-suicide in Fort Myers on Monday night.
